KROMI Logistik AG: Wilhelm Hecking named new Chairman of the
Supervisory Board

Hamburg, December 14, 2011 - This Wednesday KROMI Logistik AG held its
Annual Shareholders Meeting. In addition to the presentation of the
approved annual financial statements for the fiscal year 2010/2011 the
agenda also included regular voting on the Supervisory Board. On proposal
of the Executive Board and Supervisory Board the shareholders elected
Wilhelm Hecking as a new member of the Supervisory Board. In the subsequent
meeting of the Supervisory Board Hecking was also appointed as the new
Chairman. He succeeds the former Chairman Dr. Thorsten Bieg, who decided
not to run for office again. Dr. Bieg has supported the companywith his
expertise as a lawyer during the important phase of transformation from an
owner-managed to a listed company. CEO Jörg Schubert sincerely thanked Dr.
Bieg for his engagement during a special period of company development. The
rest of the Board will be made up by existing members Prof. Dr. Eckart
Kottkamp and RenéDannert, who was also confirmed in his role for a further
five years. In addition to voting on the Supervisory Board, the other
points on the agenda also met with the approval of shareholders, the vast
majority of whom therefore support the company's sustainable course for the
future.
Jörg Schubert, CEO of KROMI Logistik, explicitly praised the work of
outgoing Supervisory Board Chairman Dr. Thorsten Bieg during his speech and
made a particular point of highlighting his extensive legal expertise: 'As
part of KROMI's transition to a listed company and the incredible growth in
legal requirements this entailed, Dr. Bieg's expertise were of key
importance and his advice provided the company with invaluable support.
Both the Executive Board and Supervisory Board would therefore like to
extend their particular gratitude to Dr. Bieg for his efforts.'
In the future, the Supervisory Board's work is to focus more strongly on
advisory support for the Executive Board with regards to the operating
business. As a new member of the Supervisory Board, Wilhelm Hecking will
join Prof. Dr. Eckart Kottkamp and RenéDannert in realising this. Hecking,
who works as a self-employed personnel consultant, draws on many years of
experience in the machine and plant engineering sector. 'Mr. Hecking is the
ideal addition to our Supervisory Board thanks to the know-how he has
gained in leading purchasing functions in the machine engineering and
renewable energy industries. His industry knowledge and contacts within our
customer markets will provide valuable additional know-how to the
Supervisory Board,' explains Jörg Schubert referring to the newly appointed
Supervisory Board Chairman for the next five years.
Overall, KROMI can look back on the fiscal year 2010/2011 as a year of
strong revenues combined with investments in new customers and markets. 'We
have consciously expanded our activities in the area of customer
acquisition, which meant higher costs as planned. However, we are convinced
that this was the right decision in order to generate sustainable income in
the future and therefore continue the company's healthy growth track,'
comments Uwe Pfeiffer, CFO of KROMI Logistik, addressing the company's
business development.

KROMI Logistik AG offers manufacturing companies end-to-end outsourcing for
their supply of precision machining tools, both in Germany and abroad. The
company focuses on technically advanced machining tools for metalworking
and plastics (consumable and cutting tools, e.g. drills). KROMI combines
conventional tool retailing with a decentralised tool supply system that
includes output machines in the customer's production area and an IT-based
tool management and controlling system. KROMI's aim is to sustainably
optimise the supply of resources (particularly tools) for its customers and
to secure the availability of the appropriate resources at the right time

locations in Germany and four abroad (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain and

primarily focused on customers in the general mechanical engineering,
