O'Donnell Strengthens Mobile Advertising Company's Technology Prowess With Microsoft, Barnes & Noble and DoubleClick Experience; Promotes Current CTO Krish Arvapally to Chief Innovation Officer

(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/14/11 -- today announced the appointment of Frank O'Donnell, formerly a Senior Development Manager at Microsoft, to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

O'Donnell will drive the technology team to enhance the company's mobile ad serving platform and develop new ad buying and monetization offerings for advertisers and publishers on the media network. Current CTO Krish Arvapally, who co-founded Mojiva in 2008, was promoted to Chief Innovation Officer (CINO). The company, operating the Mojiva ad network and the Mocean Mobile ad serving platform, offers a full suite of technology solutions for agencies, publishers, and ad networks to lift the value of mobile advertising.

Mojiva Inc. is continuing to strengthen its executive team that is comprised of advertising and technology veterans from Google, DoubleClick, Yahoo and AdMob with more than 100 years of collective experience in mobile marketing and technology. As Senior Development Manager for Microsoft, O'Donnell managed the Universal Ad Client development team that integrated advertising into Xbox, Windows Phone and Windows 8 platforms. Additionally, he led the team that created the most popular advertising solution for the Windows Phone. Prior to Microsoft, O'Donnell was the director of development for Massive, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2006. O'Donnell has also led technology teams for both Barnes & Noble and DoubleClick.

"For three years now, we've worked extremely hard to create what now is the dominant mobile ad serving platform in the world. Adding someone of Frank's caliber to now take over and manage that process, given his 17 years of ad serving technology experience, is just huge," said Dave Gwozdz, CEO of Mojiva Inc. "Mobile advertising technology is extremely complicated, so far we've produced a terrific platform, but now we've just raised the bar."

Arvapally is the co-founder of Mojiva Inc. and has been instrumental in helping the company grow to become the leading mobile ad serving companies. Under his guidance as CTO, Arvapally has helped the company reach more than 754 million unique devices globally and represent more than 3,000 mobile publishers and apps. His promotion to CINO will allow him to develop a more robust product roadmap; building and adding new, innovative and competitive technologies into the current product set.

is the parent company of the mobile ad network, Mojiva, and the mobile ad serving platform, Mocean Mobile. Mojiva Inc. has a total of $35 million venture funding from Shamrock Capital Advisors, Pelion Venture Partners and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments.
