Co3 Systems Appoints Former EMC Executive as Vice President of Engineering
Allen Rogers Joins Data Loss Management Software Pioneer to Lead Solution Growth and Further Simplify and Automate Incident Response and Regulatory Compliance
(firmenpresse) - CAMBRIDGE, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/14/11 -- , a pioneer in Data Loss Management software, today announced that it has appointed seasoned industry veteran and former software engineering director at EMC Corporation, Allen Rogers, as Vice President of Engineering. Reporting to Co3 CEO John Bruce, Rogers will be based in the company's Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters.
Allen adds more than 20 years of software engineering expertise and successful entrepreneurial experience to the executive team at Co3. Most recently, Rogers served as Director of Engineering at EMC Corporation, where he lead engineering activities for several of the company's Enterprise Content Management and Compliance product lines. Prior to EMC, Rogers was instrumental in launching a number of innovative startups, including serving as the first Vice President of Engineering at Authentica, an industry leading Enterprise Digital Rights Management solution, which was acquired by EMC. Rogers was also among the first employees at network firewall pioneer Raptor Systems. While at Raptor, Allen served as the Director of Technical Services, developing and managing the company's support and services organization through the company's IPO and subsequent acquisition by Axent/Symantec. Rogers earned a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio State University.
