NEVADO Completes Second Major Helicopter-Supported Diamond Drilling Campaign at the La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project
- 12,603 metres in 36 diamond drill holes covering 6 targets, including the completion of the delineation drilling at the 1,500 metres by 550 metres by 115 metres Farrell-Taylor Occurrence
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/15/11 -- NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: VDO)(FRANKFURT: NSV) (the "Company" or "NEVADO") is pleased to announce the completion of the second major helicopter-supported diamond drilling campaign at the Company's wholly-owned La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project (the "Project").
The campaign totalled 12,603 metres in 36 drill holes covering 6 targets divided as follows:
All assay results are currently pending.
NEVADO has now completed 68 diamond drill holes totalling 22,221 metres on the Project, of which 45 holes for 16,461 metres were drilled at the most extensive oxides mineralization found to date at the highly prospective Farrell-Taylor Occurrence.
Management believes these is sufficient drilling at the Farrell-Taylor Occurrence to complete NI 43-101 mineral resource estimates of the entire massive and disseminated Iron, Titanium and Vanadium oxides mineralization package as well as a preliminary economic assessment. In addition, NEVADO and its partner Neomet Technologies Inc. are nearing completion of the second stage metallurgical test work.
