Alaska's gold claims are located in the Interior of Southern British Columbia, in the Lillooet Mining Division approximately 100 air miles north east of Vancouver B.C. often referred to as the Bralorne mining camp.

This mining camps historic production totaled 4.15 million ounces of gold from 52 separate veins. The total value of that gold today would exceed 5 billion dollars.

The Bralorne mining camp contains the largest historic gold mine in the Canadian Cordillera with the past production of 4.15 million ounces from 7.9 million tons of ore, containing .52 Oz's of AU, from approximately 52 veins over 40 years of production.

Extremely deep vein structures (5000 Feet) points to long term mining operations with many exploration targets.

The mine operated from 1932 to 1971 when it closed due to the low price of gold.

The property hosts ore bodies which occur in a series of quartz veins most of which are bounded on the northeast by the dipping Ferguson fault on the southwest dipping Cadweller fault. The principle veins are found within the Bralorne Intrusives and Pioneer Greenstones.

Bralorne Mine was opened again in 2003 because engineering advances and more intensive exploration has encountered numerous mineralization.

As well changes in the gold market and more intensive exploration of this region have created much more interest by other junior explorers such as Alaska Pacific Energy Corp.

For more information on the region see for history of the region.

Alaska's option agreement gives the company the rights to the 4 BCT claims called the "Pilot Gold Property" which is some 500+ acres. The claims are a few miles north of Bralorne located on Gun Lake. Mineralization has been encountered. A 3 meter wide shear contains a number of narrow, parallel quartz veins altered with sericite and kaolinite. "Gold and silver values are continuous along this structure for 300 metres northwest. A chip sample taken over 0.9 metres assayed 11.1 grams per tonne gold and 56.9 grams per ton silver" (Assessment report 1187).
