(firmenpresse) - BEDFORD, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/11 -- has introduced a new PEF (pulsed electric field) system that provides flexibility for experiments, batch tests, and process development involving , , , and other extraction processes.

Diversified Technologies' can apply a full field strength of 40 kV/cm across the fluid at conductivities up to 10 mS and can also apply 10 kV/cm into seawater. Totally integrated, this laboratory PEF is designed for performing R&D experiments, batch tests, and process development at up to 50 liters/hr., depending upon the application.

Consisting of a , power supply, and treatment chamber with a pump, Diversified Technologies' Laboratory PEF System delivers up to 99% efficiency and < 1 µs rise times into a resistive load. Providing pulse widths from 1 to 20 µs and frequency up to 1 KHz, it offers internal self protection against over-voltage and over-current conditions.
