Kandi EV Shines at Haikou International New Energy Electric Vehicle Equipment Exhibition

(the 'Company' or 'Kandi') (NASDAQ: KNDI), a leading Chinese manufacturer and developer of pure electric vehicles (EVs) and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), today announced the Company and State Grid jointly demonstrated the Express-Battery Technology at China International Electric Vehicle and Charging Equipment & Storage Technology Exhibition sponsored by the China Electricity Council (CEC) in Haikou City, Hainan Province this past week from December 19th to 21st, 2011.
Chinese government delegates, executives and engineers from China's major electricity companies, upstream and downstream EV-related industries and experts from various institutions attended this exceptional exhibition in an indoor and outdoor space of approximately 10,000 square meters containing 500 booths. A large number of leading domestic and foreign new energy vehicle manufacturers and companies in related industries participated in the exhibition, which was covered by major Chinese news media such as Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television.
Kandi and State Grid demonstrated the latest Express Battery-Changing technology for electric vehicles, which became the focus of attention at the exhibition and received broad attention from industry experts. The Express Battery-Changing technology represents the most advanced and efficient battery change solution in China. The new business model of vehicle and battery separation with an express battery change system developed by Kandi is well recognized by the industry and provides a solid foundation for the further development of a pure electric vehicle industry in China.
During the exhibition, visitors were invited to test drive Kandi's electric vehicles and experience the innovative new technology. The test drive experience generated much enthusiasm among visitors and citizens and is expected to stimulate purchases of the new "green" transportation experience.
