Horgen, April 12, 2011 - The composite materials development activities of 3A
Composites are to be decentralized. The current research center in Neuhausen is
to be restructured and part-sold to the management (MBO). The new company will
take over 34 employees as well as R&D activities for external customers. 38 jobs
are to be discontinued. Redundancy packages will be worked out for the employees
concerned in consultation with staff representatives.
At the same time, there are plans to develop the Neuhausen site jointly with a
partner and broaden its usage and utilization. The Rhytech Technology Park is to
remain at its present location and will be expanded.
