Founded in 1992, Finetech entered the industry by focusing on rework equipment and later added flip chip assembly and die
bonding products. In November 2009, Finetech acquired Martin GmbH, a manufacturer of rework and dispensing equipment
located in Wessling, Germany. With the acquisition, Finetech offers the complete rework range, from simple hand soldering
technology and basic entry-level rework systems to advanced rework and bonding equipment for complex applications.
Finetech offers a flexible approach to customer support and welcomes the opportunity to create customized, effective solutions for
specific applications. Finetech offers high-quality products that keep pace with new developments in the market and provides deep
process know-how with unrivaled application modularity.
Manual, semi-automatic and automatic FINEPLACER® systems are available, and have a modular design for maximum process
flexibility. Applications range from R&D and prototype environments (high-accuracy, low-volume) to more fully-automated
production with higher volumes.
The company services customers in a broad range of industries including aerospace, medical technology, consumer electronics,
semiconductor, optoelectronics, military, universities and research. With installations across the globe, Finetech works with
companies from the start-up phase to large multi-national corporations.
The corporate offices and main production are in Berlin, Germany, with an additional manufacturing facility in Dresden, Germany.
