International WMS Database - Team warehouse logistics welcomes its first Russian participant

warehouse-logistics.com is the largest portal of its kind worldwide and it is an international platform with members from the USA, the Netherlands, England, India, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, and France. The excellent reputation of the portal has now reached Russia.
“We are overjoyed to be able to welcome our first Russian participants”, asserts Oliver Wolf, Director of Warehouse Logistics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, “and, of course, we also hope to be able to convince more Russian vendors to make use of our services.”
WMS users can visit the vendor-neutral platform warehouse-logistics.com to learn about the Warehouse Management Systems offered by the participating vendors for free and they can also take advantage of professional consulting tools and services as required. “It was very important to us that our portal presents a neutral view of companies and products because as an independent institution we do not sell advertising space, instead we provide information“, emphasized Wolf.
The Russian participant Solvo Ltd. sells Warehouse Management Systems as part of its product offerings.The WMS vendor provides support to their customers from development to the implementation of the system and they also provide comprehensive maintenance packages if desired. Solvo Ltd. was founded in 1995 and is Russia’s leading company specializing in the development and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems. According to their own figures, they have 48% of the market share in Russia.
