Open Source Backup Conference 2017 – Call for Papers until the end of June
The conference on open source backup solutions will take place from September 25 to 26, 2017, in Cologne. Lectures will be accepted until June 30. The discounted Early Bird tickets are also available until the end of June.
(firmenpresse) - We are looking for lectures on the subject of data backups with open source software, which present the latest developments, convey strategic knowledge, or present empirical reports.
The core theme of the conference, on September 25 to 26, is the use of open source backup solutions such as BAREOS, REAR and AMANDA. The agenda of the conference includes strategic presentations, best practices, case studies and technical lectures. Influential representatives, decision makers and developers from the open source environment use the opportunity to exchange ideas with other members of the community, to initiate future-oriented projects and to gain practical experience.
The conference will be preceded by three in-deth workshops on "Puppet for BAREOS", "BAREOS Introduction" and "Scripting BAREOS".
The opportunity for interested speakers to apply for an English-language presentation exists until June 30. Proposals are submitted via the official conference website at www.osbconf.org. The early bird phase also runs until the end of June.
