TEM: Superior Thermal Interface

(PresseBox) - P&N Europes’ Thermoelectric Modules (TEM) are well known for its Power, Efficiency and long-life time.  Since it is important to have a reliable and performant Thermal Interface between the TEM and another Material (Heat sink, Carrier, etc), P&N Europe delivers their TEM including Thermal Interface Material (TIM). This TIM is silicone free and exclusively available together with selected TEM of P&N Europe. Once the temperature increases over the phase change temperature, the printed and at this time dried TIM is melting and becomes liquid. Due to this process, it is perfectly distributed even under low pressure and evens the surface completely. By that, an extremely thin layer is achieved, which together with the excellent thermal conductivity leads to a low thermal resistance. Rough surfaces and slight unevenness are removed and air pockets expelled, this leads to a higher performance of customer’s application and increases the lifetime, too. P&N’s Thermal Interface Material, also known as thermal grease or paste will not leak nor loose performance at any time. Besides the point that the thermal interface is maintained perfectly, customers benefit of way easier and efficient integration of the TEM into their applications. There is no additional production step required to apply any thermal conductive material and the production can speedup. The repeatability and reliability of this thermal interface solution is outstanding, especially in serial production with large quantities.

We are manufacturing according to DIN-ISO 9001 as well as IATF 16949. All our peltier assemblies are tested according to Telcordia and MIL specification.
