Taiwan "goes green" with plastics and rubber machinery

(firmenpresse) - Press conference at K 2022 provides insight into product innovations from Taiwanese companies

Whether it's machines for beverage bottles, cosmetics containers, medical products or construction elements, Taiwan plays an important role in the plastics and rubber industry. Taiwanese companies are developing innovative products that improve plastics and rubber production and, above all, make it "greener". The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will hold a press conference at its booth in Hall 12, C02-08 on October 20 as part of K 2022, the largest trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. The press conference will provide an ideal platform to gain a detailed overview of innovative plastics and rubber machinery from Taiwan. Five Taiwanese companies will be presenting their latest solutions to the German and international market.

"Environmental protection and sustainability now play an important role in all sectors. It's great that Taiwanese companies in the plastics and rubber machinery industry are taking a pioneering role here and are pleased to be able to give five entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their innovative new products to the trade press as part of the trade show," says Ching-Yun Huang, Economic Advisor, Head of Economic Department and Taipei Representative in Germany, Frankfurt Office.

These are the companies

At the press conference, company spokespersons from FCS Group, POLYSTAR, HUARONG Group, EVERPLAST and CHUMPOWER will present their new products in the field of plastics and rubber machinery, and show how they plan to make the world "greener" with the help of optimization, high-end technologies and digitalization. They will also give an insight into the diverse, innovative brands that will be exhibited at K 2022:

FCS Group was founded in 1974 and is the only listed and largest manufacturer of injection molding machines in Taiwan. The size of the injection molding machines ranges from 30 to 4,000 tons and is mainly used in the production of household goods, automotive parts, packaging, electronic as well as medical products. The company's latest product, an all-electric two-component injection molding machine, offers several advantages: Cost savings, increased efficiency and improved quality.



POLYSTAR Machinery was founded in 1988 and is the world's leading supplier of professional recycling machinery in Taiwan. Under the motto "Recycling Made Simple", the company develops simple but powerful recycling solutions. POLYSTAR is dedicated to using its machines to optimize the recycling process, improve the quality of the end product and reduce energy consumption. The patented, fully automatic granulating system uses digital program logic and energy-saving ECO inverter drive modules. This enables recycling granules to be produced with uniform size and good quality.

With more than 40 years of experience, HUARONG Group is an experienced manufacturer of injection molding machines. In order to meet customers' needs and provide complete injection molding solutions and services, HUARONG Group has integrated three companies "HUARONG", "YUH-DAK" and "NAN RONG" into one group. The company's offerings include horizontal and vertical injection molding machines, manipulators, and in-mold labeling and intelligent factory management systems. HUARONG Group has developed three new products at once: The Two-Platen Injection Molding Machine and the Composited Injection Blow Molding Machine are designed to take up less space while optimizing processes. The company's third product is the stand-alone intelligent management system.

EVERPLAST is a supplier of plastic extrusion machinery and has been in the plastics machinery industry for more than 30 years. Environmental protection and sustainability are important issues, so EVERPLAST continuously researches and develops technologies for extrusion molding of recycled materials. Their latest machines use waste materials such as wood chips, rice husks or gypsum boards, recycle them and thus return them to the circular economy. In addition, EVERPLAST develops different types of 3D printers for different applications and materials.

CHUMPOWER Machinery Corporation was founded in 1981 and has become the largest leading brand in Taiwan over the past 40 years, accounting for 85 percent of Taiwan's PET blow molding machine exports. The company has already sold over 4,000 PET blow molding machines to more than 115 countries around the globe. CHUMPOWER machines can be used in the production of PET bottles of any size and shape, regardless of the contents such as beverages, water, edible oil or cosmetics. The company manufactures all the molds for its customers itself. The latest machine is suitable for applications that require high bottle quality with a short run. In addition, CHUMPOWER enables low-carbon production, as rPET can be used instead of virgin material.

K key themes provide ideal framework for innovations from Taiwan

The leading themes of this year's K in Düsseldorf are climate protection, circular economy and digitalization.
