AIDS - Prevention Game Available in German and English

(firmenpresse) - Berlin. The Berlin based firm ETLog Health EnviroTech & Logistics GmbH launched a quiz and questions game for children of 12 year and over onto the market in July 2006. The board game Think Negative!® addresses the open questions to AIDS/HIV, Sexuality and contraception in a hands-on manner.
Negative thinking? What is positive about that? It appears somewhat of a paradox, yet is actually the case. Laugh, cogitate, discuss and share the "aha” experience. The game speaks the language of the teenagers. It sensitizes the participants to a potentially difficult subject without detracting from the enjoyment of sexuality: that is why it reaches the teenager. ETLog Health GmbH has achieved what nobody else has developed in this form: a game, which addresses the themes of HIV/AIDS in an informal and serious manner. Its previous international success vindicates the Berlin-based firm.
The game informs the players about the essential facts about AIDS, sexually transmittable diseases, the methods of infection and the possibilities of protection. The teenagers will become aware of the world-wide extent of the problems of HIV/AIDS, engage with the possible methods of protection, and recognise that AIDS is not just a problem of "fringe groups,” but is something which can affect everyone. Furthermore, they will learn what should be considered when dealing with those who are HIV positive, which methods of contraception exist and where they are available and discuss the themes "the first time,” "HIV positive in the friendship circle” or "contraception” in the context of a board game.
Think Negative!® can be employed in schools, AIDS-help organizations, youth organizations, health organizations and hospitals / doctors practices. The questions are devised in such a manner that no preference is given to hetero or homo sexual lifestyles, skin colour or particular gender roles.
Think Negative!® received international attention even before it was launched. The game is available in both German and English and costs 39.80 EUR plus postage. It can be ordered directly under www.donnavita.de or in every well-assorted book and games shop.
The French version of the game will appear at the end of the 2006.
