ID: 2199968
(firmenpresse) - On local time September 18, 2025, the 2025 China (Jiangsu) - Germany (Berlin) Tourism Industry Promotion Conference, hosted by the Jiangsu Tourism (Germany) Promotion Center, concluded successfully in Berlin. This grand event focused on exchange and cooperation between the two sides' industries not only saw representatives from the Berlin China Cultural Center in attendance, but also attracted local German travel agencies, cultural and tourism institutions, and media representatives to gather together. It successfully built a new cooperation platform for in-depth dialogue and win-win collaboration between the cultural and tourism industries of Jiangsu and Germany.

The conference featured a tight schedule and numerous highlights. As the conference kicked off, the host took the exchange between the two sides' industries as a starting point, deeply interpreted the conference background and overall agenda, and clarified the core goal of "resource exchange and win-win development", laying a practical cooperation tone for the entire promotion conference.

During the conference, Andreas Hube, Federal Managing Director of the Global Economic Network at the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), based on the overall development of bilateral relations, elaborated on the importance of cultural and tourism development and exchange. He not only systematically introduced the unique advantages of Jiangsu's cultural and tourism resources, but also clearly pointed out the cooperation directions that German travel agencies can participate in the future, providing a clear path for the subsequent collaboration between the two sides.

Timo, Head of the Jiangsu Tourism (Germany) Promotion Center, deeply integrated Jiangsu's core advantages. Relying on the solid economic foundation laid by its strong regional GDP, he built the core of cultural and tourism around World Cultural Heritage, World Natural Heritage, and vibrant intangible cultural heritage (ICH) resources. Supported by the quality of 5A-level scenic spots and combined with the policy dividends of visa-free entry ports and transit stay policies, he comprehensively demonstrated Jiangsu's comprehensive attractiveness as an international cultural and tourism destination and its service support capabilities.

Subsequently, the release of 4 core tourism routes tailored for the German market precisely met the local tourists' needs for in-depth cultural experiences, natural ecological exploration, cross-cultural study tours, and business cooperation. The characteristic highlights, suitable customer groups, and cooperation models of each route were clearly presented, providing actionable cooperation plans for the on-site tourism industry representatives.

The sharing of "dual-hometown" sentiment by Sophie Yang, Founder of the Brú Art and Culture Association, became a highlight of the event. Combining her years of living experience in Berlin and the association's practice of connecting different cultures, she explained the value of cultural and tourism exchange between the two sides from the perspective of "spiritual dialogue + cultural appreciation". She not only vividly introduced Jiangsu's historical heritage and diverse charm, but also actively recommended Jiangsu's cultural and tourism resources to the on-site guests, calling on German friends to visit and experience in person. With her in-depth understanding of both "hometowns", she provided an emotional link and directional reference for the cooperation between the two sides, making the connection between supply and demand more warm.

In the subsequent interactive exchange session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as joint route development, group service adaptation, and multilingual service optimization. Staff from the Promotion Center answered questions on site, and several groups of intended cooperations were initially reached through candid dialogue.

The successful holding of the 2025 China (Jiangsu) - Germany (Berlin) Tourism Industry Promotion Conference has injected new vitality into the cooperation between the two sides' tourism industries. Taking cultural and tourism as a bridge, it has also laid a solid foundation for the mutual referral of tourists and the cooperation of tourism projects between the two sides. From the cross-border exchange of intangible cultural heritage to the joint development of tourism routes, from the accurate connection of market demands to the innovative attempts of cooperation models, this event has built a new tourism cooperation platform featuring "resource sharing, tourist mutual referral, and market co-development". It has not only injected new impetus into the cultural and tourism cooperation between the two sides, but also taken cultural and tourism as a link to consolidate the social foundation of people-to-people bonds for the bilateral relations between the two countries. From the cross-cultural dialogue of world heritage to the joint creation of tourism routes, from the accurate matching of market demands to the innovative exploration of cooperation models, the event has broken the one-way barrier of cultural and tourism exchange and built a new ecological system for cultural and tourism cooperation characterized by "resource sharing, tourist mutual referral, and market co-development". This is not only a vivid interpretation of the "comprehensive strategic partnership" between the two sides, but also consolidates the humanistic foundation for the development of bilateral relations.
