New Second-Generation Satellites Launched in October Now Providing Improved
Coverage Throughout the Region

DUBLIN, Ireland, 2011-04-13 15:15 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Globalstar Europe Satellite Services Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Globalstar, Inc. and a leading provider of mobile satellite voice and data
services to businesses, governments and consumers, today announced that it has
extended its satellite coverage area in conjunction with its Independent
Gateway Operator, Globalstar Avrasya of Turkey.

Globalstar Europe Satellite Services gateway in Aussaguel, France and
Globalstar Avrasya's gateway located in Ankara, Turkey are now provisioned to
cover all of the European sub-continent as well as northern Africa, the Middle
East and most of the Mediterranean and the eastern Atlantic Ocean maritime
region.

extended local calling throughout Spain, Italy and other parts of Eastern
