TATTOOPALOOZA steht für die Verschmelzung von Tattoo-Liveperformance, Kunst und Musik.
TATTOOPALOOZA wird von Tätowierern und Menschen mit künstlerischem/gestalterischem Hintergrund organisiert, wobei auf die qualitative Hochwertigkeit und die internationale Zusammensetzung großen Wert gelegt wird. Deutlich wird dieses durch die Liste der teilnehmenden Tätowierer, welche sich u.a. zusammensetzt aus: Artcore Ink (Finsterwalde), Cultureshocks (Wolfsburg, Veranstalter), Electric Revolver (Braunschweig), Namakubi (Spanien), Nobbi (Schweden), Schepi (Schweden), Beppe Shiro (Italien), Peter Siwak (Magdeburg), Tattoopoint Napoli (Italien) u.v.m.
Hinter TATTOOPALOOZA steht der Gedanke, das Tätowieren mit allen Aspekten und Stilrichtungen als Kunstform darzustellen und die Berührungspunkte mit anderen Bereichen der Kunst und Kultur aufzuzeigen.

The first TATTOOPALOOZA tattoo convention in Brunswick will take place on October 18th and 19th 2008 at the Wichmannhalle, located in the Sophienstrasse. TATTOOPALOOZA stands for a fusion of Tattoo live performance, art and music to an innovative event. Along side with international tattoo artists there will be live acts and exhibitions from areas like painting, sculpturing, photography, street art (graffiti), video art, Varietè and music (bands and DJs).
TATTOOPALOOZA is being organized by tattoo artists and other people with similar backgrounds in graphical and applied arts, always having the major focus on a high-quality standard and an international composition. This is being revealed by the list of participating tattoo artists which contains Artcore Ink (Finsterwalde), Cultureshocks (Wolfsburg, organizer), Electric Revolver (Brunswick), Namakubi (Spain), Nobbi (Sweden), Schepi (Sweden), Beppe Shiro (Italy), Peter Siwak (Magdeburg), Tattoopoint Napoli (Italy) and many more.
The spirit of TATTOOPALOOZA is to present tattooing as a form of art with all of it's aspects and styles and to point out touching points with other forms of art and culture.
