It has applied for EcoLogoM from the Canadian Government for their ewrap™ film

Environment Canada’s EcoLogoM Program provides consumers with a level of assurance that the product bearing the EcoLogoM, EcoLogo’s symbol of environmental excellence, meets stringent environmental criteria. The mark also tells the consumer that the manufacturer of the product has been audited by a credible third party.

Started by the Government of Canada in 1988, the EcoLogoM Program is one of many ecolabelling programs around the world rewarding products and services for their environmental leadership

ewrap™ film is less harmful to the environment than PVC. It also has 30 to 40% reduction in packaging waste due to its lower density and gauge. No health risk from leaching of plasticizer into packaged foods; No hazardous waste during production producing carcinogens; 30 to 40% reduction in packaging waste due to its lower density and gauge; Complete ability to be recycled or incinerated. This makes ewrap™ film a good candidate for the EcoLogoM Program.
