fidis: New website, enhanced service

fidis GmbH, a leading international provider of standard software for factoring companies based on SAP, launched its new website on October 29. The most important innovations are a ticket form and a factoring portal for information about the current factoring agreements. The new website significantly expedites communication.

(firmenpresse) - As an outsourcing services provider for factoring processes, fidis depends on notifications from the customer regarding changes to interest rates and limits. Previously these were sent by email. The new ticket form now enables factoring companies to transfer the relevant changes quickly and easily over the internet. “The emails weren’t standardised, which made them complicated to write and to evaluate,” explains Otto Johannsen, Managing Director of fidis GmbH. “And there is also always a risk that emails will get lost.” With immediate effect that is no longer possible. Information on current agreements is entered in an online form and sent directly to the fidis ticket system. Predefined text boxes and selection categories for specifying the business concerned and the topic of the message facilitate the work. Up to ten files in different formats can be attached to the form. All the relevant categories are also stored, thus enabling errors to be reduced to a minimum.

The new customer portal also reduces the factoring companies’ workload: It offers factoring clients a quick way to view their transactions. In the past this information had to be provided by the factoring companies by traditional mail or email. That was not only slower, but also complicated. Now factoring clients can obtain up-to-date information on the status of outstanding items, incoming payments, cash out and availability, dunning status, etc. at any time online.

Another service offered by the new website is a comprehensive factoring glossary which provides reliable explanations of the most important terms used in the industry. A new state-of-the-art design and a lean and straightforward navigation also make the website particularly user-friendly.
