Statement by the NATO Secretary General on the Nairobi terrorist attack
I strongly condemn the terrorist attack on the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi, which killed and injured so many people, including citizens of NATO nations.
I offer my sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, and to the Kenyan people and Government. I wish the many wounded a full and speedy recovery.
Such abhorrent acts of terrorism threaten us all. They can never be justified. My thoughts are with the victims and their families and loved ones at this time.
