The new science textbook: Roaming between Wireless Local Area Networks
The rapid spread of Wi-Fi hotspots operated by different wireless internet service providers (WISP) caused many “isolated solutions”. When the mobile user leaves his home network, no service will be available in another city or another network of a WISP.

Therefore the existing system is quite impractical for the mobile user due to the fact that only Wi-Fi hotspots operated by one provider are available.

The system allows the customer to use the services of various WISP´s and any available Wi-Fi hotspot. Moreover the new billing method shows how the service units can be designed as fair as possible for the customer.
