ORLive Program Discusses Surgical Treatment for Epilepsy

Anyone can get epilepsy at any age, but the majority of new diagnoses are in kids. About two-thirds of all kids with epilepsy outgrow the seizures that accompany it by the time they're teens. However, not all seizures respond to medical treatment and parents may need to consider a more invasive treatment approach.

On Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern, join neurosurgeon Roger Hudgins and epileptologist Deborah Holder as they discuss what parents and doctors should know about treating epilepsy through a more invasive approach.
