It's the follow-up to his debut album, , which entered Billboard's Heatseekers chart at No. 1 and contained the RIAA-certified Gold single, which was a No. 1 hit at AAA radio.
the first single from , tied with Coldplay for #1 Most Added at AAA this week, and was Most Added at Hot AC. It can already be heard on such stations as KFOG/San Francisco, WXRV/Boston, WRNR/Baltimore and KCSN/Los Angeles. The track provided the backdrop for the opening of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere and will be released on iTunes February 7. Hutchinson's has sold more than 250,000 units and its singles -- including (certified Gold in the U.S., Platinum in Australia, New Zealand and Norway), the top 5 AAA hit and -- have sold more than one million copies combined.
Hutchinson recorded with Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Regina Spektor) in California and Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, James Morrison) in London after writing the songs at home in New York City. Road-tested in every setting from a converted garage in Salt Lake City to the 30,000-seat Calgary Saddledome, from San Diego to Dubai, the songs reflect an ever-broadening musical palate, from the exuberant folk-pop bounce of to the reggae lilt of opener and the soul grounding of
