New Classified Ad Network Jumps 25% in Two Weeks; Now Averaging 2,000 New Ads a Day

(PINKSHEETS: SEEK) today announced that the Company has successfully launched the beta version of its new Local business search engine . Over the coming weeks the Company will be adding additional functionality as well as completing testing for the site.
TheDirectory.com CEO Scott Gallagher commented, "We're pleased to have launched the beta version of TheDirectory.com version 2.0 on schedule. We've begun testing the site as well as addressing some of the initial issues related to any new site launch since moving the site from our development servers last week. However, we're very pleased with the initial response to the new site across the board, both our advertisers and our shareholders have expressed great satisfaction with the new site." Gallagher continued, "By the end of January we'll have fully integrated all of the initial functionality as planned for this version of the site allowing us to offer the best Local business marketing solution in the space. To that end we're going to schedule a shareholder conference call after the market close on February 1st to review the new site and discuss our plans to dramatically expand our business into new markets."
Gallagher went on to say, "Our new classifieds ad network continues to out-perform our internal forecasts and is now averaging over 2,000 new ad listings a day. We currently have nearly 60,000 active ads running on the network. We're evaluating several monetization strategies to capitalize on this emerging opportunity and will discuss them in more detail on the February 1st call."
