Curtiss-Wright Controls Defense Solutions Receives Capability Maturity Model(R) Integration (CMMI(R)) Maturity Level 3 Appraisal From Software Engineering Institute (SEI)
(firmenpresse) - ASHBURN, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/12 -- (CWCDS), a business group of , has announced that its Santa Clarita, CA business operation, formerly Curtiss-Wright Controls Electronic Systems, was officially appraised at Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Maturity Level 3 on January 6, 2012 by the SEI, Carnegie Mellon University.
Receiving CMMI Level 3 appraisal is an important accomplishment in the aerospace and defense market that CWCDS serves. Prime contractors increasingly seek sub-contractors who are able to meet CMMI Level 3 requirements to provide assurance that solid and proven processes are in place for software and system development.
