Compassion Canada has once again made the list of Best Christian Workplaces-the only Canadian organization to make the list this year.

Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI) conducts annual employee surveys to recognize those organizations which meet their high standards of excellence. Employees answer questions on topics such as job satisfaction, personal development, management, commitment and pay and benefits.

One of the things Compassion Canada's 87 employees love most about Compassion is its mission: releasing children from poverty-in Jesus' name. Compassion's employees are passionate about heading to work each day, knowing they are making a difference in the lives of thousands of children around the world.

Compassion Canada's President and CEO, Barry Slauenwhite, says, "I am so proud of our staff for the way they passionately serve the poor and for their dedication to the pursuit of excellence. Our vision is to be the standard of excellence for child development globally."

The survey also helps organizations learn how they can continue to grow and improve. As Compassion Canada's Director of Operations, Jim Bartholomew says, "Each time we have participated with the Best Christian Workplace survey, we have learned ways for us to continue to grow and improve as a ministry. We want to combine the high calling of serving in Compassion's ministry with a work environment that more and more allows us to contribute our very best."

This is the fourth time Compassion Canada has made the list in the 10 years BCWI has conducted the survey in Canada.
