NIB finances Danish Ramboll's consultancy acquisition

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) and the leading consulting engineering company
Ramboll Gruppen A/S have signed a loan totalling DKK 75 million (EUR 10 million)
for financing the company's acquisition of the British consulting company,
Gifford.
The loan has a 4-year maturity, with the possibility for an additional four
years, and will partly finance the strategic acquisition that took place in
2011 and which strengthens Ramboll's current business in the UK.
Gifford brings new know-how and expertise to Ramboll, especially in the
infrastructure sector in areas such as bridges and roads, which Ramboll will
make use of in the planned Femern link between Denmark and Germany.
"We are pleased to take part in the financing of the acquisition of Gifford,
which will enable Ramboll to grow and strengthen its competitiveness, not only
in the international market, but in the Nordic market as well," says Johnny
Åkerholm, NIB President and CEO.
