AMCOL International Announces Changes to Executive Leadership

(firmenpresse) - HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/11/12 -- The Board of Directors of AMCOL International Corporation (NYSE: ACO) has appointed Patrick Carpenter as President of AMCOL's Environmental segment. Mr. Carpenter has been with the company for 20 years working within management roles for the Building Materials and Lining Technologies businesses.

Ryan McKendrick, Chief Executive Officer and President of AMCOL, commented, "Patrick has played a key role in building a strong position for AMCOL within the Building Materials and Lining Technologies markets.
