Haglöfs and Hellner are now friends
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Haglöfs welcomes Swedish cross-country skiing champion Marcus Hellner into their
team of Haglöfs Friends. Hellner's genuine interest in the outdoors and his
experience as an athlete are two of the cornerstones in a collaboration which
aims to develop new products for Haglöfs high-pulse activities range - Haglöfs
Intense.
Marcus Hellner is not only a world-class skier, but also someone who has a true
passion for the outdoors and spends a great deal of his spare time engaged in
outdoor activities. Hellner knows what is required in terms of apparel, both for
training and leisure purposes, and this is one of the starting points of his
collaboration with Haglöfs.
"Our Intense range is good, but we want to make it even better. Haglöfs Friends
has always served us well as a test organization, but over time these
collaborations have expanded to incorporate product development. Marcus Hellner
has a very multifaceted outdoor profile, and we believe that we could learn a
lot from his experiences," explains Nicolas Warchalowski, CEO of Haglöfs.
In his spare time, Hellner enjoys hiking, snowmobiling and hunting, and it was
his passion for outdoor activities that led him to contact Haglöfs to discuss a
potential collaboration.
"It just feels right for me to collaborate with Haglöfs. I spend a lot of time
in the outdoors training before the snow arrives, as well as in my spare time.
Haglöfs has always provided me with the very best clothes for training and
leisure activities, and I am looking forward to helping develop these products
further," says Marcus Hellner.
