Stonesoft receives certification by French security agency ANSSI

Helsinki, Finland - 18 January 2012- Network security vendor Stonesoft today
announced its Stonesoft Firewall network security solution has obtained the CSPN
(Certification de Sécurité de Premier Niveau) ) certification delivered by ANSSI
(French Network and Information Security Agency) in France.
The Stonesoft Firewall solution met all the evaluation criteria, thereby
acquiring the CSPN qualification. In practice, this means that organizations
deploying the Stonesoft Firewall solution are guaranteed that it is compliant
with the relevant security specifications. During the certification process the
product security mechanisms are tested against every known vulnerability in the
product category and against evasion of security features.
"Obtaining this governmental certification is a further milestone in the strong
growth of our business. Although we are already EAL4+ certified, this new
certification will enable Stonesoft to address the public sector. As the first
non-French vendor certified by the ANSSI, we offer a viable alternative to local

Stonesoft received the CSPN certification on December 19th 2011 under the
reference ANSSI-CSPN-2011/14.
Stonesoft obtained the elementary qualification N°3431/ANSSI/SR/RDL on December
22nd 2011.
