Just One Hour of Occupational Safety Training Yields a Year’s Worth of Benefits
(firmenpresse) - How can employers reduce the cost of conducting and documenting annual employee workplace safety and health training while continuing to ensure the welfare of their workforce? arvato Systems and Qualitus have joined forces to tackle this question. At Learntec 2012, they will showcase the results of their successful collaboration by introducing a web-based occupational safety training program that makes it easier for companies to fulfill their corporate legal training requirements.
The training is modular and is organized around the following topics: fundamentals, emergencies, physical stress, psychological stress, and fire protection. The time required to complete all the training modules is approximately one hour. The modular structure makes it possible to conduct training as a unit or to change the topic focus each year. The training module content has been designed to keep the training experience from becoming an undesirable routine for employees, thus maximizing training effectiveness. Customers may supplement the training with additional modules at any time.
“In addition to web-based training, we provide a customized workflow to make the customer’s work as easy as possible,” says Dr. Jens Prager, Director of Business Development at arvato Systems. “This workflow automatically triggers the training, aligns it with the customer’s ERP system, and provides audit-compliant documentation of the training.” Julia Probst, Manager of Marketing and Sales at Qualitus, adds: “The WBT also transfers the trainee data to the training platform used by the customers, allowing them to have an up-to-date overview of the training status of their employees at all times. It couldn’t be easier.”
