In the 2012 CES, Las Vegas, NOW launched its executive AirMusicTM license
in U.S.A. Brands like Lenco, Jensen and Sonashi unveiling their AirMusicTM
licensed devices, MAPTM, the first time in U.S.A..
'297 million units of Smartphone were shipped to the market in 2010, 10
billions Smart devices will be in use by 2020' Mr Joe Chen, CEO of Now
Advertising Production PLC, said, 'Along this extreme smartphone
penetration growth, a huge number of consumers will demand a device, like
MAPTM, to reproduce good quality music and video contents wirelessly from
their smartphone and cloud music locker, like MyMusicTM.'
Mr Chen concluded, 'All the AirMusicTM licensed MAPTM devices are default
MyMusicTM ready. Over 1 million units MyMusicTM ready devices and phone
apps will be distributed to the market in 2012, growing to over 10 million
units in 2014, generating over US$300 million projected revenue in 2014 on
MyMusicTM service, AirMusicTM license, and targeted advertising on these
users' smartphone.'
Streaming music files between devices is an infringement against music
copyright, and historically there was no legitimate way of doing this. NOW
executive AirMusicTM is a unique technology legitimate the industry to
manufacture smartphone accessories, like MAPTM, to stream music from a
smartphone against infringement.
