Just one week after NOW unveiling its AirMusic licensed devices in the 2012
CES, Las Vegas, Wikipedia dramatically 'blackout' its website 24-hour on
Jan 18th in protest against the two Protect Intellectual Property Act
proposed anti-piracy legislations intended to eliminate theft online once
and for all. Other leading websites -- including Google, Facebook and
Amazon -- contend will make it challenging if not impossible for them to
operate.
The influence of these critical anti-piracy legislations alerted the
industry that how further the piracy music services and products can be
maintained in the future.
Instead, NOW has been leading in the development of legitimate music
technologies and services since 2009, licensing its exclusive MyMusic and
AirMusic technologies to device and phone app vendors against infringement,
including those in China. It projects to penetrate 5% of all the smartphone
in use in 2020, generating a US$10 billion level revenue on AirMusic
license, MyMusic service and Targeted Advertising on these 500 million
active smartphone users database.
