ZUWA AdBlue® pumps in the harbors of the world

(PresseBox) - Noell Mobile Systems is a company specialized on container handling, developing and producing cranes and straddle carriers used in container terminals of large sea ports. The vehicles are driven by diesel engines using AdBlue® as an additive to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions to meet the EUROMOT IIIB (Off Road) guideline.
The engines are located in a height of 12 to 15 metres. Noell is working with ZUWA's professional NIROSTAR 2000-A 24V DC impeller pump to get the AdBlue® up to the engines.
Florian Niederreiter, project manager with ZUWA: 'Under regular conditions we would use one of our membrane pumps for AdBlue. With the height we have to cover, in this case the powerful NIROSTAR pumps are the better choice though.'
ZUWA impeller pumps are dry self-priming, they do not need to be filled prior to use. The NIROSTAR 2000-A has a flow rate of 30 litres per minute and a pump head of 40 metres. NIROSTAR pumps are ideal for AdBlue® or any other urea application. The pump body is made of stainless steel, gaskets and impellers are available in Viton® or NBR.
