RagingWire Announces Initial Carriers for Virginia Data Center
(firmenpresse) - SACRAMENTO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/02/12 -- RagingWire Data Centers, the nation's premier data center provider, announced its initial carrier deployment today for their new Virginia data center. The Ashburn, Virginia, facility is designed from the ground up as a carrier neutral facility boasting carrier-friendly features such as complimentary space and power for qualified facility-based fiber providers.
RagingWire Virginia's initial fiber carrier partners include Level3 Communications, XO Communications, Verizon Business, FiberGate, Abovenet Communications, Fiberlight Communications and Yellow Fiber Communications. Several other carriers are in the final stages of due diligence for possible deployments. All carriers will be accessible to RagingWire VA1 customers via fiber cross-connects and will offer a variety of services from dark fiber and optical wavelengths to conventional telephone service.

Carrier selection is no small matter at RagingWire, which conducted significant research amongst current and prospective customers before deciding on the first group of carriers at the Virginia datacenter. Criteria for selection included customer demand, high bandwidth availability, unique capabilities, and competitive pricing.
