Network Printing Specialist Shows Latest Solutions in CeBIT Managed Print Services Park
Bielefeld, Germany (February 2, 2012). – After a three year absence from CeBIT the German network specialist SEH announces the company's return to this IT event. The SEH exhibit in the Managed Print Services (MPS) Park in Hall 3 focusses on the company's current output management solution portfolio. This includes appliances for efficient print spool management in environments without a print server, several hardware solutions for ThinPrint environments, and the range of myUTN brand USB virtualization solutions, which are suitable for MPS. From March 6 to 10, SEH will exhibit at CeBIT in Hall 3, booth A24(8b).
(firmenpresse) - For the first time SEH presents its USB virtualization solutions, the myUTN product series, at CeBIT. These can be used with USB printers and other devices. The myUTN brand includes special solutions for scanners and USB hardware licence keys (dongles), too.
SEH will also show new hardware-based solutions for infrastructures using ThinPrint print management software by Cortado. These include ThinPrint Gateways for print job compression. A special highlight will be on the ThinPrintReader TPR-10 authentication hardware, which complements the ThinPrint Personal Printing solution by Cortado. In such environments TPR-10 turns every network printer into a Personal Printing-enabled printer. Its contactless card technology ensures security as users have to authenticate at the printer via TPR-10. Exclusively for CeBIT visitors SEH and Cortado will offer a Personal Printing Starter Pack, including a TPR-10 and five Personal Printing server and user licences as well as five RFID cards as a special promotion.
Another focus of the SEH exhibit is on Intelligent Spooling Devices (ISD), a portfolio of dedicated print appliances. These can also be operated as ThinPrint Gateways for up to 150 printers. Their main function is the management of all available network printers as queues in every network without central print servers for print spooling. ISD appliances offer simple printer driver management and are compatible with third party filter applications. For instance, ISD appliances combined with the software TBarCode/Embedded by TEC-IT make network printers barcode-enabled within minutes. Independent of make and model this plug & play solution offers unified barcode printing without any additional costs.
