Jenne Names Susan Elder as Director of Marketing
IT Distributor and Leading Cleveland-Area Employer to Leverage Elder's Corporate and Agency-Based Marketing Communications Expertise
(firmenpresse) - AVON, OH -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/12 -- Jenne Inc., a leading value-added distributor of IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, data networking and security products, announced that it has named Susan Elder as its director of marketing, effective January of this year. In her role, in this newly created position, Elder is responsible for all of Jenne's marketing activities including its branding, marketing communications, promotions, partner programs and website and electronic marketing.
Elder brings close to 25 years of marketing and corporate communications experience to her new position at Jenne. Previously, she has held marketing and communications roles with several leading organizations in the Cleveland area, including the American Red Cross and Invacare Corporation, a Fortune 500 company that manufactures and distributes medical products.
She most recently served as chief marketing officer at the American Red Cross of Greater Cleveland, where as a member of the executive management team she was responsible for marketing, sales, communications and the operation of its health and safety training programs. During her tenure there, she secured more than $2 million in contracts for the agency's fee-for-service business. She conceived and implemented major communications programs that increased the organization's visibility and support amongst its various audiences.
Elder's broad marketing expertise extends to advertising, branding, CRM processes, graphic design, market research, media relations, social marketing and other areas within the marketing and communications field. She has developed and launched both local and national marketing programs that have positively impacted sales of both products and services for the organizations in which she has served.

Elder has been a member of several Greater Cleveland-area boards, including the Board of Trustees of Midtown Cleveland. Additionally, she has earned industry recognition as a winner of the 2009 Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award from the Sales and Marketing Executives of Cleveland; as a 2010 nominee for the American Marketing Association Nonprofit Marketer of the Year Award; and as a 2011 finalist for the Chief Marketing Officer of the Year Award from the CMO Institute.
