The will be taking place on May 12, 2012 at Rogers Centre. This exhibition match will feature international top-tier cricketers, and will also include a cultural and entertainment show that will feature a world-class artist.
India's IPL may have been the catalyst, but cricket is now the fastest growing sport in the world. The T20 format has revolutionised the way people see the game. Now is the time for Canada to take its place in the cricket entertainment calendar. , with approval from International Cricket Council (ICC) have sanctioned the event and are looking forward to making this event a memorable one.
In its inaugural year, a single T20 match between an squad, and players from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, West Indies, Zimbabwe and South Africa will participate. The players will compete for the winner's trophy - as well as the chance to return the next year to defend it. The combination of new and seasoned competitors will guarantee a competitive and fierce game for the fans.
