Jawad Rathore and Vince Petrozza of Fortress Real Capital to Launch Charitable Program "Fortress Gives", With a $100,000 Donation to MLSE Team Up Foundation

This program will allow Fortress Real Capital to give back to the communities they are invested in, with a focus on helping build a better tomorrow for today's youth.

Avid sports fans, passionate about community, Jawad and Vince have been able to direct their enthusiasm to charitable projects and donations that help disadvantaged children participate in recreational and amateur sports across Canada. Both sit on the chairman's committee for , the charitable arm of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.
In past years Fortress Real Capital has made several donations to MLSE Team Up Foundation and this Tuesday, February 16 2012, they will be presenting a $100,000 contribution to Team Up foundation at the East York Memorial Arena under the new "Fortress Gives" program.
"This pacesetting contribution from Fortress Real Capital is the largest single donation we've ever received," said Mike Bartlett, Executive Director of the MLSE Team Up Foundation. "It is significant in its size, but even more significant in its scope. These funds will be used to invest in the refurbishment of recreational facilities such as East York Memorial Arena and to fund essential youth recreation programs through our Team Up Foundation Fund. Jawad, Vince and their business partners are leading by example, and in doing so, are helping to change the lives of youth through the spirit and the power of sports."
