Constellation Acquires Capital Computer Associates
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/16/12 -- Constellation Software Inc. ("Constellation") (TSX: CSU) today announced that its wholly-owned division Harris Computer Systems ("Harris"), a leading provider of financial, customer and public safety management software solutions for utilities, local governments and public safety agencies, purchased Capital Computer Associates, Inc. ("CapCom") of Albany, NY.
CapCom offers a complete portfolio of administrative products and services for New York State school districts and their associated Boards of Cooperative Education Services ("BOCES") including human resources, payroll, fund accounting, and purchasing. As a result of the transaction, CapCom will be consolidated within Harris School Solutions, the Harris operating division focused on administrative solutions for K-12 school districts throughout North America.
