Frankfurt/Main / Hanover, 16th February 2012 - Once again this year, the
euromicron Group will showcase tailor-made products, solutions and
applications for the key markets of tomorrow, and demonstrate how its
know-how is being applied to the real world of living and working and
permits extensive improvements there, at CeBIT in Hanover under the slogan
'next generation solutions'. As a result, euromicron will once more
underscore at CeBIT 2012 that it has leveraged its competences in the field
of network infrastructures in the past years to develop and create
intelligent solutions and applications for various application areas in
daily work and life.
'At CeBIT, the euromicron group will show that it unites all the expertise
and technologies needed for state-of-the-art, future-oriented data transfer
in data centers, LANs and WANs,' states Thomas Hoffmann from euromicron
AG's Executive Board. 'CeBIT is thus the ideal place for us to demonstrate
to the broad public how euromicron enables top-quality communication,
control and monitoring in the gigabit age for its customers on the basis of
powerful broadband network infrastructures,' he adds.
The far larger euromicron stand with the number D51 can be found in Halle
11 in the CeBIT Exhibition Center. Over an area of 240 square meters,
euromicron will present 'next generation solutions' from a wide range of
application areas.
In the field of 'security', euromicron will demonstrate how it installs and
integrates alerting systems at enterprises from different industries and at
business and public organizations and tailors them to the customer's needs
and network, for example.
In the 'tracking&monitoring' field, euromicron illustrates among other
things how an intelligent video-based analysis tool can support supply
chain management, staff rostering, customer advice, payment processes and
security monitoring in modern retail stores.
With its products and solutions in the area 'home&office', euromicron
demonstrates how it brings broadband to office complexes, industrial
estates and even remote residential areas and ensures maximum availability
there.
In the field of 'mobility&travel', euromicron illustrates how its network
solutions support coordination of traffic in all types of mobility thanks
to rugged components and intelligent concepts: In traffic control systems
and control rooms, for example, in airport surveillance or in passenger
information systems in local or long-distance public transport.
In the field of 'energy&automation', euromicron shows how it supports
power generators and network operators with state-of-the-art components and
monitoring systems at huge solar fields or an offshore wind farm and with
smart grid connections or communications systems in this complex
environment.
In the 'managed services' field, euromicron explains how industrial
customers can benefit from its permanently updated specialist know-how and
so focus on their core business, including with a live demonstration of how
this is mapped in its network operation center.
In the 'health&care' field, euromicron presents entertainment solutions,
telephony services, monitoring systems and networked workplaces which help
hospital and care staff to focus on the needs of patients.
Some of the solutions and applications on show in the individual
application areas are in-house developments by euromicron's manufacturing
subsidiaries Elabo, MICROSENS, LWL Sachsenkabel, EUROMICRON Werkzeuge and
