Wikifamilies Commences Structuring of Management Team

(firmenpresse) - NYON, SWITZERLAND -- (Marketwire) -- 02/21/12 -- Wikifamilies (OTCQB: WFAM) (PINKSHEETS: WFAM), a developer of patented social media technologies and the online
community , today approved the change of role for one of its
co-founders, Robert Coleridge, from Chief Software Engineer to Chief
Information Officer. Robert is also a member of the Wikifamilies Board of
Directors. Robert has 35 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Prior
to joining Wikifamilies, Robert worked at Microsoft pioneering numerous
technologies, including web services. During his tenure at Microsoft,
Robert and Chris Dengler, Wikifamilies CTO, helped pioneer Microsoft's
Internet connectivity strategy known as web services, which now runs on
over 6 billion devices worldwide.
"Given his experience and reputation as one of the IT industry's true
innovators, Robert inspires the entire management team. He will act as both
a mentor and leader to recruit younger programmers to Wikifamilies'
software development staff, which we are now in the processing of doing,"
said Malcolm Hutchinson, CEO of Wikifamilies, Inc. "Robert is far more than
just a software development genius. He is an amazing intellectual on
numerous fronts as demonstrated by his academic qualifications. He has
degrees in Theology, Anthropology and Computer Science. Robert has used his
combination of experience and education to produce a social media platform
that a parallel to none."
Robert's career spans an impressively diverse cross-section within the IT
industry, including: accounting; records management; statistical analysis;
visionary prototyping for Microsoft executives; and banking infrastructure
control systems. Examples of his impact on the IT industry can be found by
doing a web search on key words: FTP, Cryptography, speech, SOAP, in
combination with Robert Coleridge. The results will speak for themselves.
Robert's passion for software engineering started at age 14 when his High
School math teacher sat him down at an old teletype, an acoustic coupler
modem, and a 300 baud connection to a distant college's mainframe. By the
time he was 15 he had written a registration system for the school and by
the time he was 16 he had written a cataloguing system for the school
library. Transferring from school to school, Robert was able to finish 8
computer science courses before graduation. Taking a job as an office
runner Robert was rapidly moved to the IT department of a global
engineering firm and his career took off from there. From a humble office
boy to an industry innovator and visionary Robert has now brought those
skills to bear on Wikifamilies in the underlying cloud based and highly
secure platform.
