Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson Among Those Honored

(firmenpresse) - ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/27/12 -- Bill Boatman, 2012 President of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR), announces the inaugural class of the Georgia REALTORS® Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame recognizes members of GAR who have demonstrated consistent support of the REALTOR® organization for at least 30 years, and who have had a strong influence in the real estate industry. GAR named 14 individuals to its first Hall of Fame class. These individuals set the bar for the Hall of Fame, having proven themselves as champions of the REALTOR® association and captains of industry. The 2012 Georgia REALTORS® Hall of Fame is comprised of the following outstanding individuals:

John S. Thibadeau, Sr., Cumming

Ward Wight, Sr.*, Atlanta

The is a voluntary professional association of approximately 26,000 licensed real estate brokers and salespersons engaged in all aspects of the real estate business throughout Georgia. GAR is the leading advocate for the real estate industry in Georgia, committed to protecting private property rights and free enterprise, maintaining ethical and professional standards, and enhancing the public's awareness and confidence in REALTORS®.
