Haglöfs appoints new Board Chairman

Alistair Cameron was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Haglöfs at
the Company's latest Board meeting. Alistair Cameron will succeed Lars Göthlin,
who is leaving Haglöfs' Board of Directors after 19 years.
Haglöfs was acquired by ASICS Corporation in the summer of 2010, and the Board
of Haglöfs has focused over a period of 18 months on developing the Company's
business plan and strategies together with the new owner. During this time, Lars
Göthlin has played a central role in ensuring continuity in Haglöfs' operations
through his considerable knowledge of Haglöfs' business and history. Now that
this phase is reaching its conclusion, it is only natural that Lars relinquishes
the chairmanship.
"After 19 years on the Board, it is evidently difficult to briefly summarize
Lars Göthlin's considerable contribution to Haglöfs' operations and development.
Over the years, he has combined experience, wisdom and thoughtfulness with a
large dose of humor," says Nicolas Warchalowski, CEO of Haglöfs.
"In 1993, Haglöfs was still a small backpack company that had just launched the
future sales success called TIGHT. I have experienced a fantastic journey, but
all journeys finally reach their destination. I leave Haglöfs with mixed
feelings, but at the same time feel confident in leaving the chairmanship to
Alistair Cameron," says Lars Göthlin.
The Board of Directors' meeting resolved to appoint Alistair Cameron as new
chairman. He has been a member of the Board of Haglöfs since 2010 and has solid
experience of various leading positions within the international sportswear
sector. Alistair is also CEO of ASICS in Europe.
"Lars has been an important asset during our first period as owner. Not least,
we have had tremendous use of his legal expertise. Lars has played a significant
role in smoothly integrating Haglöfs into the ASICS family," comments Alistair
Cameron.
"I have worked closely with Alistair since ASICS took over Haglöfs, and it is
very evident that he is filled with enthusiasm for Haglöfs, our core values and
people. Haglöfs will now be launched globally, and I have full confidence in
Alistair as chairman with his considerable international experience," concludes
Nicolas Warchalowski.
