Balluff Group takes over High Resolution GmbH from Kirchheim
Balluff completed the takeover of specialist for magnetic displacement
(PresseBox) - Neuhausen a.d.F.: The sensor specialist and Industrial Networking provider Balluff completed the takeover of High Resolution GmbH from Kirchheim am Neckar halfway through January 2012. The specialist for magnetic displacement systems will be fully integrated into the Balluff Group, whose 2,200 global employees help generate an annual turnover of more than ? 300 m.
According to Balluff spokesman Michael Unger, the technical knowledge of Balluff High Resolution complements the company's existing technical expertise perfectly in the area of displacement technology. The fusion of the two companies has bundled synergies and created extra momentum that can be used to further consolidate the position of the company in the magnetic measuring system sector.
Michael Unger explains "We are looking forward to welcoming the employees of High Resolution to the fold and are confident that their experience and skill will contribute to further growth." The headquarters will remain in Kirchheim and will be developed into a Balluff competence center for magnetization.
