H2O Overdriveannounced today that it is launching the first ever one-on-one contest for field players, and entirely reshaping one-on-one goalie contests with the H2O Overdrive Ultimate Soccer Player™ (H2O Overdrive USP™) and H2O Overdrive Ultimate Soccer Goalie (H2O Overdrive USG™) tournaments.
This June, over 3,800 soccer players and goalies will compete head-to-head in heated matches to prove they have what it takes to be the best.
The tournaments will challenge players and goalies as never before with an intense competition, specifically designed to make competitors dig deep and unleash everything they've got.
"Players will be individually tested. They'll have to prove their striking, dribbling, defending and goal tending skills," said Thomas Dooley, former U.S. National team player and H2O Overdrive athlete ambassador. "This is not just any competition. This is the ultimate challenge; a one-on-one battle to prove that you are the best."
Along with Dooley, U.S. Soccer hall of famer and H2O Overdrive athlete ambassador, Paul Caligiuri, has teamed up with H2O Overdriveto craft this adrenaline packed event.
"It's gonna be war out there," said Caligiuri. "Players will need a lot more than determination to win. It'll take courage, skill and endurance."

Regional competitions for the tournament will be held in Orange County, San Bernardino County, Los Angeles County and San Diego County in June, with finals being held August 11 and 12 at the University of California, Irvine.
