StudentUniverse Names Atle Skalleberg CEO
(firmenpresse) - WALTHAM, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/01/12 -- StudentUniverse, the leading student deals service, named Atle Skalleberg as its new Chief Executive Officer. Skalleberg will take up his new duties immediately. He succeeds Mr. Espen Odegard, who founded the company and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 1999. Odegard will continue to serve as the technology company's Executive Chairman.

Originally from Norway, he received his undergraduate degree from The Norwegian School of Management - B.I. and his graduate degree from Boston University. Under the leadership of Odegard, StudentUniverse grew from a single office travel agency to a global discount platform for students with groundbreaking proprietary technology for student verification, travel search and booking.
