New Zoom Product Is Wireless-N Router, Range Extender, and Ethernet Client

(OTCBB: ZMTP) ("Zoom") announced today that it has begun volume shipments of the Zoom Model 4403, a multiple-function Wireless-N device. The 4403 can be used as a wireless router, a wireless range extender, or Ethernet client. Estimated retail price of the Model 4403 is $35, an unusually low price for its powerful feature set.
When used as a router, Model 4403 provides shared Internet access through a four-port Ethernet switch and a Wireless-N (WiFi®) connection. The wireless range typically exceeds 1,000 feet outdoors. Where permitted by local regulations, the antenna provided can be removed and replaced with an even higher-powered antenna in the unlikely event that greater range is required. Support for Wireless Distribution System (WDS) allows the wireless signal to be repeated for an even further increase to range. Powerful Internet and wireless security features are built into Model 4403.
Model 4403's repeater mode extends the range of a wireless signal and significantly increases the area covered by a wireless network.
When configured as an Ethernet client, Model 4403 provides long-range wireless capability to computers, game stations, televisions, printers, and other devices that have an Ethernet port.
