The program guarantees a minimum payment rate under the microFIT and FIT programs

The Solart Group announces today the launch of its new Reassurance Program to help Ontario residents benefit from a secure investment under the established by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA). The OPA is expected to release new rates that will be paid to solar investors with the microFIT and FIT programs soon. The primary service the Solart Group is providing its clients is a minimum payment rate guarantee on the OPA's conditional offer. This client initiative was started because the company received many inquiries from homeowners asking about the program review that is underway by the OPA.
"The key is to apply now if you want to maximize your chances of making it into the program," explains Marc Lemieux, Solart's President. "Once you are approved, installed, and connected to the grid, the contract with the microFIT program locks you in to sell your electricity back for 20 years at a fixed rate. The payback time of our systems goes from 6 to 8 years depending on the size and the location of the installation."
