Commencing the official Toronto Fashion Week schedule, renowned Canadian designer will present his Fall/Winter 2012 collection at the , 100 Front Street West, Toronto on Monday, March 12 at 6:00pm.

Inspired by his admiration of the smallest details in nature; be it the profound balance of a butterfly's wings, rock formations or the linear lined orb of Earth, the Lucian Matis Fall/Winter 2012 collection celebrates nature's art in symmetry.

"The lines in nature can travel, swirl and conjoin. These natural patterns are nature's expression and purpose," explains Matis. "My designs have adapted and evolved through colours and shapes; the grace in movement which this planet and nature must play out from minute to minute, birth to death, and most importantly, the beauty in attraction."

For the third season in a row, Lucian Matis Inc. continues its partnership with beauty by - this fall show led by Director - Global Pro Lead Artistry, Smashbox Cosmetics Lori Taylor, and hair by .

Romanian-born, Toronto-based fashion designer Lucian Matis began designing at a very early age. Prior to moving to Canada in 1999, Matis studied art at the Sibiu Art Institute in Transylvania. Matis graduated in 2003 from Ryerson University's esteemed Fashion Design Program where he received multiple awards. His first professional collection was presented at L'Oreal Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2007.
